2013 Year of the Snake Calendar Photo Contest

PARC is seeking close-up, digital photos of snakes, preferably in their natural habitats or within an educational or conservation context. One winner will be selected each month to be the featured photo as part of the Year-of-the-Snake online (printable) calendar. Runner-up photos also will be included in the calendar. Additionally, all submitted images will be considered for use in the Year of the Snake monthly newsletter and website as well as other PARC-related conservation, outreach, and educational efforts.

2013 Year of the Snake Calendars Now on Sale! 

PARC announces its two new 2013 Year-of-the-Snake Wall Calendars. "Snakes of the United States and Canada," and "Rattlesnakes and other Pit Vipers." Each month features a different, high-resolution photograph of some our more interesting and beautiful serpents. These are heavy-duty calendars that can be written on for planning purposes. The PARC 2013 Year-of-the-Snake calendars make the perfect holiday gift! These are available online at the PARCStore (see link below). This should not be confused with the downloadable monthly calendar competition (see below). All proceeds from the PARCStore help support PARC.

And a reminder that 2012 is still the Year of the Lizard, so now is a good time to pick up some lizard gear as presents or stocking stuffers!
