Field Technician working with amphibians, reptiles and small mammals.

Immediate opening, as of March 4, 2008, for a field technician to trap amphibians, reptiles, and small mammals to evaluate the impacts of forest management in the Ozarks of southern Missouri. Duties include trapping animals, identifying animals to species, entering data into databases, and maintaining traps. The wage is $8.49/hr for a 40-hour work week. Housing and utilities are provided. Employment begins as soon as possible after March 4, 2008 and ends November 2, 2008. Applicants must have a B.S. in fisheries and wildlife biology, ecology, or a related discipline. Preference will be given to applicants who have amphibian, reptile, or small mammal trapping experience. The successful applicant will work out of Ellington, Missouri.
